Troubleshooting Video Render Failures

Common error causes, prompt length guidelines, and resolution steps for stalled generation tasks.

Updated on

If a video render fails or takes unexpectedly long to complete, follow these troubleshooting steps.

Common Causes of Render Failures

  1. Input Aspect Ratio Mismatch: Using an ultra-wide custom ratio image with a model that strictly requires 16:9 or 9:16 input frames.
  2. Safety Moderation Rejection: Prompts containing prohibited words or ambiguous celebrity names trigger safety filters before compute invocation.
  3. Upstream GPU Node Timeout: During peak global usage hours, heavy video models (e.g. 10-second 1080p outputs) may time out.

Resolution Steps

  • Check your prompt for special characters or trademarked names that might trigger automated safety filters.
  • Ensure your input image resolution is under 4K (4096x4096px); extremely large files should be pre-scaled.
  • If a render status shows Stalled for over 5 minutes, cancel the task in your generation drawer and retry. Credits for stalled jobs are refunded automatically.
