These terms govern your use of BeHooked. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are able to bind that company.
The service
BeHooked provides access to generative image, video and audio models through a web dashboard, an API, a CLI and an MCP interface. Which models are available changes over time — models are deprecated by their providers, and new ones appear — and we do not guarantee that any specific model remains available.
We do guarantee that a plan’s credits and concurrency are what the pricing page said they were when you bought it, for the term you bought.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.
One account is for one person or one organisation. Sharing credentials across organisations to avoid buying seats is a breach of these terms.
Credits and billing
Credits are consumed by generation, priced by the compute a generation requires. Every generation is quoted before it runs.
Subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing period. Unused credits roll over for as long as the subscription remains active. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable except where required by law or where a generation failed due to a fault on our side — in which case they are returned automatically.
If a payment fails, we will attempt it again and notify you. Access is suspended, not deleted, after continued non-payment, and your content remains recoverable for 30 days.
What you own
You own the outputs you generate, to the extent they are capable of being owned, and you may use them commercially. We claim no licence over them beyond what is necessary to store them in your library and deliver them to you.
You own your inputs. By submitting them you grant us a licence to process them for the purpose of producing the output you asked for, and to transmit them to the model provider you selected. That licence exists only to run the service and ends when you delete the content.
Note that the legal status of machine-generated output varies by jurisdiction and is unsettled in several. We can grant you everything we hold; we cannot grant you rights that no one holds.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Generate sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a real person without their consent.
- Create material intended to deceive — impersonating a real person, forging a document or record, or presenting a generated depiction of a real event as genuine.
- Generate content that harasses, threatens or incites violence against a person or group.
- Infringe someone else’s intellectual property, or circumvent a model provider’s own restrictions.
- Attempt to extract model weights, reverse-engineer the service, or evade rate limits and credit accounting.
- Resell raw model access as though it were your own service.
Building a product on top of the API is expressly permitted. Point 6 is about passing through model access unchanged, not about building something.
We may suspend an account for a breach of this section. Where the breach is ambiguous we will contact you first; where it is not, we may act immediately.
Availability
We aim for high availability and do not promise it contractually on standard plans. Generation depends on third-party model providers, and their outages become ours. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where it is likely to be disruptive.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. Generative models are probabilistic: they produce output that may be inaccurate, unsuitable, or not what you asked for, and we do not warrant that any particular generation will meet your requirements. Reviewing an output before you use it is your responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Termination
You may cancel at any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We may terminate for a material breach of these terms, and will give notice and a chance to fix it unless the breach makes that inappropriate.
On termination you can export your content for 30 days, after which it is deleted.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and notified to you before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, cancel, and we will refund the unused portion of your current period.
