The differences

Where they part ways.

The choices VEED and BeHooked made differently, and what each one means for your work.

  1. Editing versus generating

    VEED
VEED centres on a timeline editor for your own footage, with AI tools layered in. If you need to cut a long video, it does the job and BeHooked does not.
    BeHooked
BeHooked has no multi-track timeline. It generates and finishes, and a long edit goes to the editor of your choice.
  2. How you pay

    VEED
Plans are priced per user, with a yearly AI credit allowance and a free plan to start.
    BeHooked
BeHooked has no free plan. Pro is ₹2,900 a month for 60,000 credits, every model is on every plan, and pay-as-you-go packs start at ₹500.
  3. Breadth of models

    VEED
VEED offers a curated set of video models, including Veo 3.1, Kling, Seedance and its own Fabric 1.0.
    BeHooked
BeHooked offers 38 video models, 45 image models and 18 audio models, and you pick the model for each run.
  4. Workflow shape

    VEED
Work happens inside the editor and its individual AI tools.
    BeHooked
Superagent runs apps in order from a conversation and asks before it spends credits; Nodeflow is a node canvas that shows the credit estimate before running.
Credit where due

Where they win.

  • A complete browser editor, so recording, cutting, subtitling and exporting happen in one place.
  • Subtitles are a core feature, with dynamic styles, downloadable files and translation.
  • Team features such as brand kits, reviewer roles and SSO for larger organisations.
  • Developer APIs for its Fabric model, lip sync and subtitles.

FAQs

Questions, answered.

What people ask when they are choosing between VEED and BeHooked.

Is BeHooked a good VEED alternative?

It depends on whether you edit or generate. VEED is the better fit for cutting and subtitling your own footage on a timeline; BeHooked has no timeline and is built for generating images, video and audio across 38 video, 45 image and 18 audio models.

Can BeHooked add subtitles like VEED?

Yes. BeHooked's Dynamic Captions transcribes a video, lets you edit the words and pick a style. VEED goes further on the editing side, with subtitles inside a full timeline editor.

Which is cheaper, VEED or BeHooked?

VEED is cheaper to start, because it has a free plan and BeHooked does not. VEED's Creator plan is $12 per user a month billed yearly; BeHooked's Pro is ₹2,900 a month, with pay-as-you-go packs from ₹500.

Can both translate videos?

Yes. VEED offers AI dubbing and translation to 50+ languages on its Pro plan. BeHooked translates video into 175+ languages with voice cloning.

What can I actually do with what I generate, including commercial use?

You own the outputs you generate, to the extent they can be owned, and you may use them commercially. We claim no licence over them beyond what is needed to store them in your library and deliver them to you. Note that the legal status of machine-generated output is unsettled in some jurisdictions — we can grant everything we hold, but not rights that nobody holds.
