The same material, cut two ways
A template decides where the hook lands and when the cut comes, so the same material reads differently in each.
- Sample coming soon
Hook first
The same material cut so the strongest moment opens the video.
- Sample coming soon
Problem, then solution
The same material again in a different structure, so you can see which one the content actually wants.
Your footage, in a template that already works
Bring your material
Upload the footage, stills or copy the reel should be built from.
Generate across templates
The same source is laid into several structures at once so you are choosing between finished options.
Compare and choose
Judge them side by side rather than in sequence, which is the only way the differences are actually visible.
Refine and export
Adjust the one you picked, then send it to your workspace library.
What Reel Studio takes, and what it returns
What Reel Studio needs from you
- What you bring
- Footage, stills or copy the reel should be built from
- A message
- The one thing a viewer should come away with
- Brand material
- Your typeface, colours and logo, if the reel should carry them
What Reel Studio returns
- What you get
- A set of templated cuts of the same material, and the one you refine from them
- Your source
- Kept as it was, so another template can be tried against it
- Delivery
- In your workspace library, ready to post or to hand on
Structure, brand and pace
A template supplies the structure. Everything below is how you bend that structure towards your material and your brand.
-
Template
Hook-led through to slow-build
The shape the reel takes, and where it puts its strongest moment.
-
Pacing

How quickly the reel moves between its sections.
-
Branding
Absent through to fully applied
How much of your typeface, colour and logo the template carries.
-
Text emphasis
Quiet through to headline-led
Whether the on-screen words support the footage or lead it.
-
Music presence
Background through to driving
How much the track is doing to set the energy of the cut.
Engine choice

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Reel Studio on BeHooked.
Can I use Reel Studio today?
Not yet. This page describes the intended behaviour of Reel Studio, and because it has not shipped we have deliberately published no specifications, pricing or timings for it. Shots, Smart Resize and Music are available now and are useful on the same material.
Why generate several templates instead of one?
Because which structure suits a piece of material is genuinely hard to predict, and comparing finished options side by side answers the question far better than reasoning about it in advance.
Can I apply my own branding?
That is the intent. Branding is one of the controls, so a template can run unbranded or carry your typeface, colours and logo throughout.
Do I have to accept a template as it comes?
No. A template gives you a structure to start from, and the reel you choose is then yours to refine before you export it.
What happens to my original material?
It stays in your library as you uploaded it, so you can run it against another template later without re-uploading anything.
